The game currently has an issue where mouse and keyboard simply don't respond. So turn off the Bluetooth. Then plug in your controller via the USB controller plug. Select the game you want to play. Once getting to the main screen that says something like "Press X to Play" then unplug the USB cord. Then plug it back in and it should work. ObscureAlias.
I've not tried a wireless controller on Far Cry 5, but if it's anything like Far Cry 4, you'll have issues. It should work wired though. The issue is with Bluetooth. The Steam forums have many posts about Far Cry 5 controller issues and Steam generally has excellent controller support. Report abuse.

He's a fix that worked for me, Xbox One controller, should work for PS4 controllers also. Different methods of getting there but this is how i got there. 1. Open Big Picture mode 2. Go to Library 3.
